Artificial Intelligence ≠ Absent Mind
It takes a brain to work a brain.
I don’t want to get into the AI is bad for society argument.
It’s no different than:
Elvis concerts make your daughter a whore.
Gangster rap is killing people.
Video games are encouraging violence.
Marilyn Manson is destroying America.
There is always going to be a group of people that just assume something new is bad and you know what…
FUCK EM.
I don’t want to be learning about one of the most beneficial and amazing pieces of technology while also feeling bad about it because you read a fucking tweet.
You wanna fix the homelessness population?
How about the ongoing world wars?
How about America kidnapping families while racists talk about how good it is?
Because if you’re not solving a REAL fucking problem, shut the fuck up.
Now that we got that out of the way…
I want to tell you how much AI has benefitted me.
But first, I want to tell you the MAIN BENEFIT.
TIME
Above and beyond all of the benefits that you get from AI…the main benefit is getting time back.
Think about all the things you would like to learn at an accelerated rate.
AI can help you do that.
Right now, with the help of AI, I get…
a therapist/life coach/a mirror.
a speed reader.
a data cross referencing machine.
a tool that can watch and break down a 4 hour video in about 3 minutes.
a tool that is teaching me how to improve at speaking Spanish.
a tool that helps me create images and improve my descriptive speaking skill.
a coding teacher to learn Python.
But guys…it’s still a tool. Every tool is going to have a learning curve to work through. But as long as you can stick to some basics, you should be fine.
It’s really not that complicated to get started.
When you prompt, rather, give ANY kind of command…
Keep it simple enough for anyone reading to understand.
Keep it detailed enough to make sure nothing is missed. (You want to avoid getting ‘glazed’ - getting a generic looking/sounding answer.)
Be sure to mention things you don’t want, they matter as much as the things you DO want.
Remember every model you use (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Grok, Kimi, Deep Seek) will give different results.
So test a few out.
That’s literally it.
But you won’t see the moves til you play the game.
So get in there.
My favored space for AI is Venice AI.
This is the only site I have found with uncensored AI options.
I consider this important because most other companies will refuse to answer questions that might do something as mild as be a little insulting to a group…or show the possibility of being illegal.
To be honest, any government that holds information back is one step closer to totalitarian.
The States are getting close, I’ll tell you that much.
But, all political conspiracy theories aside, get the fuck on this choo choo train.
You might not end up a power user by any stretch of the imagination, but even using it as a glorified search engine will help you find what Google might hide from you.
